Here's my step-by-step tutorial on how to create custom ringtones for any iPhone including the iPhone 4S. I simplified this as much as possible, however as it is my first tutorial then please feel free to comment or ask questions. There are other tutorials that explain how to create the ringtones, but none that I've found so far that are as simple to understand and follow.

Have updated a new video showing how to add AACencoder and now showing tones folder www.youtube.com Using Windows 7 and iTunes 10.5.1 A step by step video on: 1- getting Ringtones in your iTunes Library *now shows as just tones* 2- setting windows 7 to allow you to change file extensions 3-create a ringtone *sorry for the shakey camera! *note* For those who CANNOT SEE THE "CREATE AAC VERSION" you must go to Edit-Preferences-Import settings-Import using AAC encoder. *NOTE* with 10.5.1 Release the folder will show as TONES no longer ringtones.
